What is the best oil to use in a car that burns it?
I have a 1996 Saturn SC with 136,000 miles that burns about a quart of oil every 400 – 500 miles. I use the car to deliver newspapers in and I drive approx 700 miles a week. When I got my oil changed last time the tech. recommended a synthetic oil and said that it should help slow down the burn. IT DIDN'T!. What is the best grade to go with in my situation?
well the mechanic you talked to probally screwed you cause synthetic oil is great on new engines that has only 1 oil change yours however has old oil in the metals and are not to mixed and the synthetic will eat the old deposits that the old engine uses to its advantage to run now, another words your engine adapts to the old deposits to seal things that are worn out like where your valves seat,etc..you can go with a heay oil 10 40w but to hevy and use lucas oil treatment, you really need to rering her and freshen the bottom end!!!
What should i do about old bruises that leave bumps?
i have many bruises on my legs from playing softball and there are still bumps there even though the discoloration is gone. Is there anything that will help the lumps to at least descend a little?
Warm baths should take the swelling out now that the bruising is gone. Even some light massaging of your legs should help.

Are some people more suseptible to fleas or bed bug bites than others?
My girlfriend gets some sort of bites all over and I don't get any. I am wondering if there is a reason that I don't get bit, but she gets bites all over.
yeah its the same way with my husband and me. we recently had a horror movie style flea infestation at our house. i had no bites but he looked like he had leprosy, all covered in itchy scabs and bumps and stuff. ha ha. also mosquitoes hardly bite me, i guess insects just find me unpleasant :]
Can allergic reactions cause a miscarriage?

Probably not. Miscarriages are caused by many things. If she were allergic to a medication or to fish or something, it could be a problem depending upon the severity of her allergy. Chocolate unless you are extremely allergic, causes skin breakouts. She needs to ask her doctor. How did she not know she was eating chocolate?
How come my ankle sprains everytime I run?
before you go out and walk or run stretching the ankles and your legs is always a good idea if you have weak ankles, (Like I do) . riding a bike will help sometimes . but before I'd do any of these things I would talk to the doctor first or call the nurse just to talk to him or her about the problems , usually they will tell you what you can and can't do .. but almost always they will want you to see the doctor just in case there is a different problem altogether..

soak it in warm salt water frequently , put peroxide under the nail and wait it out
