Are You Always Tired? Find How To Get Your Vitality Back
Cast your mind back to your younger years: is it not true that you had a full tank of energy the entire day, and thoughts of fatigue only entered your mind when you were told to go to bed. This is how life is meant to be with you living your life to the full followed by a good restful sleep at bedtime. Now that childhood is but a distant memory, it may be that you have also begun to suffer from an ongoing feeling of exhaustion, the bane of many people’s lives. It usually translates into limited quality time with your young children and your loved one, and non-participation in activities, because you are too fatigued. If you are suffering from low energy here are some tips to help you.
The first thing to do is to eliminate any possible health causes, so have a complete checkup with your health care provider. The way you feel could possibly be caused by some foods, so monitor your food consumption and how your energy level is impacted. For example, one of the symptoms of gluten intolerance is exhaustion and this requires a complete overhaul of your diet to remedy the problem. It can of course just be a generally unhealthy diet that causes you to feel worn out all the time and so a number of changes here can make a huge difference. If you’re overweight, this will impact on your energy levels, so you must commit to more healthy eating on a daily basis.
Children are ceaselessly energetic at least to some extent because they’re always in motion and having fun. As people age they usually become less active in general, and sometimes you even see them sitting around, just relaxing, being sedentary. It might be that just a simple change of moving about more by going for a walk around the block or doing work in your garden in the fresh air will make you less tired. It may be the last thing on your mind when you are worn out but by starting to take some exercise, you may start to reverse the undesirable effects of a sedentary lifestyle. An option worth taking into consideration is signing up for a fitness class – there are classes for all age groups – and you may even meet quite a few new buddies.
If you’re feeling stressed out this might be the reason for your feelings of fatigue, which could be noticeable even after you’ve just woken up. Stress could also cause your sleep to be interrupted, so if you are stressed out learning how to relax needs to be on your list of things to do. This can sometimes be combined with making a commitment to exercise based on the kind of activity you choose. Additional benefits are sleeping better and feeling more enervated upon awakening.
You are likely to gain in energy and be tired less often if you start putting the above advice into practice.

How can you tell if your dog has a broken leg as opposed to sprained?
Dog’s broken leg.
On Saturday my deadbeat roommates put my dog outside to be chased around the neighborhood by the kids (very mean, Im looking for a new place to live) I have a 8lb Min pin chihuhua mix and he doesn’t bear weight on his back hind leg when on concrete. He walks on it fine when we’re inside on carpet. I’ve rotated it and wiggled each of his toes and he was not bothered by any of that. He doesn’t lick it or show any sort of pain other than just lifiting his little leg. He does have a little cut on the inside of his little paw so I’m wondering if that’s all it is. I’m sure its sprained so what can I do to make him more comfortable?

Why my dog is hurting?
Dog’s mild sprain.
My dog was lying in my room & when I went to take him out he slowly walked to the stairs (he’d have to walk down 7 stairs). Instead of coming down he laid down on the top stair & he yelped when we tried to coax him down. I checked him & he was shaking & when I went to see what was wrong I tried to pick him up he yelped & snapped at me. I got a treat to see if he’d eat it. Initially no, which is very strange for him, but then he did eat it.
I thought it was a broken or badly sprained limb. I tried to get him into the crate & he yelped like crazy & was biting. I called the vet just as they were closing. Eventually he made it to the living room. While he lie there I bent each joint & pushed on all parts of his stomach, body, etc. to locate the pain but can’t find anything. He did walk to the kitchen for dinner scraps so I thought he was OK, but now he is just laying halfway under the bed & depressed.
Does this seem like something serious or just a mild sprain or tummy ache?
He is a 6 year old Lhasa Apso and this is the first time he has ever acted this way.
Sprains prevention – Is there a way to keep dogs safer?
Dog sprains prevention
I was just sitting around comparing two common athletic pets (horses and dogs) and was kinda wondering if there were more steps to keep dogs safe. I know there are booties for sled dogs but is that it? I hear dogs get injured quite a bit (sprains and such) in sports like lure coursing and agility. Horses have these sort of leg wrap things to help prevent them from sprains and stuff. Do they have these for dogs? What about cooling jackets?
