How do you treat and prevent bug bites on your lip?
I seem to get a bug bites on my lip about 3 times a year.
When I do, my lip becomes puffy and painful. Kinda looks like a giant pink tennis ball protruding from my bottom lip.
I've tried icing my lips, but it doesn't always help reduce the swelling. I remember I tried draining the bite, but it left a huge nasty scab and a scar that took months to recover.
These bites usually occur at night, when I'm asleep so it may be bed bugs or something. I wash my sheets and blankets every month or so.
So, is there a better way to treat a bug bite on the lip?
And how can I prevent getting bitten?
Bugs don't usually bite a person's lips. This sounds more like cold sores to me.

Well, I would try wearing pants when your out at night. To treat them, I don't know, see a gynecologist.
