How long do people usually have to wear a plaster cast on broken bones for?
How long do people with broken bones have to wear plaster casts before they are removed? More specifically, arm and leg casts.
six weeks. typically. sometimes more. sometimes Less. I believe James Howlett had to get a cast once. It actually healed while they were casting him. i had one on my ankle for 6 weeks and it didn't quite heal right. I had one on my wrist and took it off a week early, it's fine. it's all a matter of your healing ability. Basically… the best answer, though…
However long the doctor says. But for a 'not serious' fracture, with a 'typical cast', you're probably lookin at 6 weeks.

Typical is at least six weeks, or until an x-ray shows that the bone is adequately healed enough to bear weight. The length of time varies on a lot of things.
