How soon do broken bones begin to fuse back together?
I have a clean break in my 5th metacarpal bone. (Pinky finger bone, in the hand, just below the knuckle) My bones were reset on Monday, and put in a cast. I was just curious about how long it takes bones to begin fusing back together?
For a clean break, you should have the cast for 4-6 weeks.

I hope as soon as there set, my husband fell a week ago and broke the biggest bone in your body it's the fumier bone in his leg and were looking at 3to4 weeks be for he can even try to put any weight on it, and then he will have months of rehab. he is now it the hospital for the next 2to3 weeks , but I am sure your pinkie will heal in a Short amount of time.
