How long does it take for bruises to show up?

I was just wondering, how long does it usually take for bruises to show up? After the hit that would cause it.

Also, what spots of the body bruise easier then others? Is it possible to bruise a bone?

And finally, what will a bruise look like at first? Will it look red? Or instantly go blue/black or purple or w/e?

it depends on how bad it got hit if it got hit hard only like 1 or 2 mins but it might not even bruise at all if it hasn’t by 5 mins

the shins elbows knees anything that’s closer to the bone but again it depends on how hard yes the bone can bruise my sister was put on crutches for a bad bruise on the bone before

    2. it depends on the hit. if its light but can get a bruise.. it takes more time. like 2days
    For one that hurts really bad. about… 8-9 hours

    4. I wondered how long buises take to show up. I fell down some stairs, and didn’t bruise for awhile. As the day went along, some bruises showed up. Each day, more bruising occured. After 5 days, the bruise covered most of one side of my bottome. So….why did more bruising show up as days went on, and some bruises showed up the first day?
