i have many bruises on my legs from playing softball and there are still bumps there even though the discoloration is gone. Is there anything that will help the lumps to at least descend a little?

Warm baths should take the swelling out now that the bruising is gone. Even some light massaging of your legs should help.

push back your cuticles. stick something underneath your nail bed to loosen it from the tip of your finger slightly (not so much that you make it bleed).

scabs and bruises…go tanning. The scabs will go away faster and the bruises will blend in with the tan.

I have like 20 bruises all over my body and I have a big date coming up soon and I want to get rid of bruises NOW!

If the bruises are recent(less than 24 hr) you need to put cold packs over them , if they are more than 24 hr you have to put warm packs over them .also you need to go to doc to have antibiotic cover and at last cover them with makeup

I have bruises on my legs, even from mosquito bites where I have scratched (I guess), don't remember, but they seem to last forever. Is there anything that I can do to help this condition? If not, is there a good concealer product that you can recommend while swimming? Does anyone else have this problem?

Put a spoon in the freezer for 20 minutes or so then push bottom side of the spoon on the top of the bruise for five minutes. It will be gone within 4 hours.

I have noticed lately that I bruise a lot more easily than when I was younger, especially on my legs.
I am taking iron suppliments, but does anyone know of any other methods to stop bruises before they start or to make them vanish quickly?

Bruising is because of damaged tissue(in most cases). Try to ice the bruises several times a day.

I hurt my arm badly yesterday, and I now have 2 bruises (front and back) on my arm. My whole arm feels sore, and the bruises have red dots on it (usually happens when the bruise is really bad). What are ways that I can reduce the bruise? People say that when you don't treat the bruise quickly, they'll re-appear in your later days- permanently. It really hurts and I just want to know how I can treat it. My mother suggested rubbing a boiled egg over it for a few minutes.

You can't make a bruise go away or anything like that. A bruise is broken vessels underneath the skin bleeding. That's what causes the bruise. I've never heard of if you don't treat a bruise they reappear. I'm thinking that's a myth. But if you have swelling you can take care of that by icing the injured area for 20 minutes on 20 minutes off for the next two hours. But nothing is going to make a bruise go away, it will go away on it's on.

I have noticed these huge bruises that have been popping up on my legs only and everyday I notice more new bruises. I haven’t been drinking, so I know that I haven’t been blacking-out and not remembering bumping into things. I am really worried about this; Please, someone answer me as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Also, I have Hepatitis C, if that helps explain anything I don’t know.

You should have your blood checked. I don’t know if it has anything to do with your hepatitis, but it could be leukemia. That’s how my mom found out she had it was that she kept bruising really easily. Good luck. I will be hoping that it is nothing serious. Take care.

Well, I'm 16 and my brother is 15. We have seperate dads, and he has always had anger problems. He has taken it after his dad. We got in a fight and he held my arms very tightly. Now there are bruises as big as my fist on my arms. And one on my leg. Is there a way to get rid of them quick?

Sorry, no short cut here. Your immune system will break down the blood to remove it. Thats why bruises change color.
