I know there are risk, but how many are normal? Anyone ever have a problem like this?
I know they don't punture the skin. I am talking about puctures to the colon.
My mom had one and the Dr puncturedher 6 times she had to have major surgry for repairs. She almost died. The Dr said this was normal. I don't think it should be.

Punctures in a colonoscopy aren't normal ♥ I've had a colonoscopy done and i came out of it intact ………… if they'd put a hole in me i'd surely have had a few choice words to express ………….. and a few legal appointments would be getting made too …………. man, i'm so sorry if this has happened to you………. aside from the pain that you had to endure to go through the colonoscopy you now have to deal with a punctured colon??!! I hope you speedily resolve this issue as i really don't have any first hand experience and just wanted to give you my best wishes ♥

How can I prevent my cycle tyres from getting punctures?

Are there any such thing as anti puncture tyres? Or is it possible to do something that will minimise the risk of getting a puncture?

There are self sealing tyres, but they still won't stop really big punctures, and will still go down eventually

EDIT

Ignore solid tyre suggestions, unless your bike has suspension you will get a horrible ride.

Also, I wouldn't put gel in as a preventative measure, but do carry a foam repair spray with you just in case you do get a puncture. That will get you home so you can fix it properly, and is easier to clean out of the innertube/tyre.

What is the course of slow punctures in a car?

My car seems to have a slow puncture in the front right wheel. I suspect that there's no air escaping through the tyre itself as I would have thought that such a puncture would be quicker.

So what's the most likely reason for the leak and what should I do about it?

Okay, here's a list.

1. Damaged or leaky valve. Have it replaced.

2. Damaged tyre. Split or punctured with a thin nail or spike. Any local tyre dealer will repair the puncture. Your tread may be good but the side walls may be cracked or worn. Does the car sit in the sun a lot?

3. Rusty or damaged rim (kerb mounting or violent cornering) can also cause bad sealing of the tyre to the rim. Rim will need to be repaired or replaced (scrapyard).

Which road bike tyres to prevent punctures?

I am trying cycling to work but have had 4 punctures in the same tyre over a 4 week period. I have heard about kevlar lined tyres. Are these any good? And, if so, which brand is the best? I have changed the inner tube, but got a flat today in that!!

Many thanks

P.S. It is for a road bike, not mountain.

Specialized Armadillo Tyres. Haven't had a single puncture since getting them.

What type of bicycle tyres are most resistant to punctures??

I keep getting punctures, so I was wondering what arrangement of bike/wheels/tyres is least likely to get punctured.?…. and I don't really want to sacrifice cycle speed or efficiency that much.. if possible.

You can buy tires with extremely tough casing. Unfortunately, they are very heavy and stiff. It may be slightly more difficult to spin them up and their rolling resistance may be higher. Check out the Continental Contact tires.

I ride to work on a bicycle but keep getting punctures?

I ride to work on an old bicycle. The problem is every day I am between 30 minutes and 2 hours late because I keep getting punctures. I average approximately 19 punctures per journey and yesterday I got 23 punctures on the way there and 26 on the way back. It is getting to the stage where I am considering walking because it would only take about 10 to 15 minutes to walk there.

Get new tires and tubes, stay off the sidewalk and on either bike trails or the road. Also, keep your tires properly inflated or you'll get "pinch flats". These happen because you don't have enough air in your tires and the tube gets pinched between the rim and the road and gets cut open. Or just walk if its only 15 minutes.

EDIT- cute trouble, very cute
