The brown recluse spider bite needs to be treated by a doctor. The usual medicines required are oral antibiotics, steroids, and pain meds. The recluse bite will cause necrosis (rotting of flesh). The damage is done by the enzymes secreted by spider's fangs. Our bodies cannot process this enzyme and the flesh will rot until the enzyme's potency subsides. This is not at all like the poison from the Black Widow.

I can't believe you asked this question just now, because I just killed a brown recluse less than 2 minutes ago! I live in the southern US and we have them in great numbers here.

  10. I don't know about it being deadly in a few days, but I do know people who have waited to get treatment, because of the venom, the tissue affected turns into gangrene, then the victom often must get a skin graft to heal the area. If it is black or a bite that has a bullseye look to it, it might be a brown recluse andd you need to see the doctor.

  16. Get your friend to the hospital if you want your frined to keep their limbs! Brown recluse spider venom basically causes your body to start eating it self. you get a flesh eating disease. Seek emergency help!

  18. I am the victim of a Brown Recluse Spider bite and I'm still dealing with it after 4 months. I was in the hospital for 1 wk and since April I've been prescribed 6 different antibiotics, none of which help.
I found a MIRACLE web site that saved me from surgery.
Go here immediately and start treatments ASAP on your friend. Order the Brown Recluse First Aid Kit, trust me from one bite victim to another, this WORKS!

If this really is a picture of him however they are more dangerous in kids and especially if he was bit on the face. Definately get the kit, but should you need to take him into the ER, don't hesitate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
