Can you recover from tendinitis and stress fractures in the hip area?
I had an MRI done and she said that I had some stress fractures and leakage? I got out the military and they gave me a dissability for tendinitis? Can I do some type of weight trainig/stretching to heal without medication or surgery?
Both these conditions take time & patience to heal. I would suggest getting into a good physical therepist, I’m sure your doctor can recommend one. You don’t want to do weight training without someone who can professionally monitor your progress so you don’t create more problems.

here is your answer

Overuse injuries of the hip include bursitis, tendinitis, and stress fractures. These injuries develop over time from muscle contractions and pounding of the legs.
* Bursitis is the inflammation of the bursa sac. Bursa sacs cushion the tendon and keep it from rubbing on the bone in the hip joint.
* Tendinitis is a gradual tearing of tendon fibers that leads to inflammation.
* Stress fractures are rare. They are seen mostly in endurance athletes. To recover, stop doing the activity that is causing the pain.
(Use RICE: rest, ice, compression and elevation. Use around-the-clock ibuprofen or aspirin. See your healthcare provider for sustained injuries.)

I had Tendonitous in my Heal (proubly from pushing cars at work) doctor said and it realy hurt to walk so he tells me to do exersises! first Slowly strech the affecied area with you hand say 5 reps of 10 Then slowly reach up on tip toes in reps. Then do the same with ball of foot on egege of steeps and heal of steeps. all the way down all the way up. It may take a couple days to get to all the steps. but be constant twice a day. It worked great for my foot that a thought was permently injured.
Tell me what you're thinking...
