Yes because there is less surface contact between the tyre and the road.

As compared to half full? Yes they are…. when a tire is properly inflated is when they are most resistant to punctures and anything else that can destroy a tire.

When a tire is fully inflated, the thicker, tread is the part that is in contact with the road. When it's going flat or flat, the thin outside wall is touching the road too so more likely to be punctured. Also a "hard" rubber surface is more likely to cause a bounce off type affect. Whereas a soft plyable rubber is more apt to accept the puncture.

Not necessarily if the tread is in poor condition no, if is in acceptable condition yes. I am assuming you are comparing inflated and non inflated. Also assuming that the inflated tires will be inflated to the recommended pressure. If you increase the pressure than recommended the tire will be more likely to expand and create a weak area susceptible to puncture.

Puncture resistance has little to do with inflation pressure. An over-inflated tire will however be more prone to belt damage from impacts with pot holes, curbs and such.
