The Bontrager is a great road tire, but I found the first time I hit a gravel spot on a bike path the rear tire got cut. The bike shop where I bought them, though gave me 50% off on the replacement tire, as he felt that shouldn't have occurred. One of my riding friends got a set of Schwalbe Marathon tires. I haven't had a *single* puncture since I've had them.
