How come my ankle sprains everytime I run?
before you go out and walk or run stretching the ankles and your legs is always a good idea if you have weak ankles, (Like I do) . riding a bike will help sometimes . but before I'd do any of these things I would talk to the doctor first or call the nurse just to talk to him or her about the problems , usually they will tell you what you can and can't do .. but almost always they will want you to see the doctor just in case there is a different problem altogether..

brittle bones? weak muscle?

try standing on one leg on the edge of the stairs and going up and down, it should help strengthen your calf/ankles.

It has nothing to do with a brittle bone.. what I think is you are not taking enough time to heal. Sprains can be a long healing process in some cases worse than a fracture. Seeing a physician would be a very helpful thing. If not, try light activity and just keep increasing it until you feel a slight discomfort and then stop. Then increase the activity as you are able. But in end I would see a DR. as it may be an underlying issue like a stress fracture that may mask as a sprain
