Gahhh dogs, why do we have them ):

Some time ago my puppy was playing and hopping on her back legs and started yelping. Her right leg was stiff but she kept running. I figured it was just a sprain or something and felt both of her legs and the bones were the same so I hope they aren’t dislocated or anything. Then I sort of lifted her right leg up so it bent and it ‘clicked’ and she was fine, but then she went under my bed and the same thing happened. It’s 00:27 so I can’t rush her to the vet or anything. I put her in her old play pen so she can’t run around and hurt herself more. She’s sleeping. Should I be worried? She’s going to the vets on Friday to be spayed, if she’s fine by then should I still ask them to check her over? Has it ever happened to you?

Dog Lover asked:

I was the one a week or two ago asking how to treat a sprained leg in a dog. He got better from that. But unfortunately he’s been suffering from stomach issues for a month now. And today we had to put him down cause things got to be really bad. He was 15yrs old and the absolute love of our lives. Just want to know how to help another dog through the loss since we have another one here yet and how or any ways to get through the pain. I got to hold him after they put him down but I just could not be in the room, my dad did that part. So anyone out there with some words of comfort sure could use it right now. Thanks.
Thank you everyone that gave positive, encouraging words. It’s really been a rough night and day today. But yes I know we did the right thing deep down even though my emotions are all over the place and will be for a while. But I’m gonna hold tight to my precious baby i have left at home and give him love to get him through this as well.
