Why my dog is finding it difficult to walk ?

My dog whines and finds difficulty in walking and started limping yesterday. I checked for any wounds but there weren’t any. I dont know if he has sprained his leg. he does not like to put pressure on it. does anyone know any solutions to this or reasons as to why he is behaving this way?

I tripped over my dog on the stairs last night and she start limping and some wouldn’t stand on her left leg. she can still walk fine but i’m not sure if its broken, sprained, or just sore.
My dog has also started jumping around and run a little bit again.
if she doesn’t get better in a couple of days i will take her to the vet.
